About

Who Are We?

The South East Rock & Roll Club is based in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford and run by locals with a shared interest in rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly and various subgenres. We hope to promote rock ‘n’ roll music locally and get as many people, young and old, involved. If you’re curious or want to get involved, please attend any of our classes or events; all are welcome!

We host weekly dance classes covering rock ‘n’ roll dances such as jiving, the stroll and the bop; these classes are operated by our club tutors, Anto and Jackie. The classes begin at 7:30PM every Thursday in the IFA Centre on Mill Park Road; each class is followed by a record hop with our resident DJs and is a fantastic opportunity to show off your newfound skills.

We regularly host events such as record hops and occasional live music. These are also a wonderful opportunity to meet our members and get yourself involved. In addition to our own events, we also travel to events outside Wexford. On top of this, we are available for visits to residential homes for the enjoyment of residents and staff upon request. Our members have also had historical involvement and promoted the annual Rockin Food Festival in Enniscorthy.
